Online: Defensive Driving Description Information Online: Defensive Driving This program will remove 2 points from your NJ Driver's License if you have points, and grant you 5% off your NJ automobile liability, personal injury, and collision insurance for three years. The course takes approximately 4-6 hours to complete and can be done at your own pace with a convenient "bookmark" feature. DDC Online is based on the same content used in the National Safety Council instructor-led Defensive Driving Course – the most widely used driver safety program in the world. Through animation, narration, video and interactive exercises the online defensive driving course offers an engaging, interactive learning environment where students analyze real driving situations, spot driving hazards, and identify the correct defenses. Course completion is automatically reported to the NJ MVC and certificate is available for printing at home and submission to your insurance provider immediately upon completion.
