American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course Description Information American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course COME TO CLASS WITH A PEN MASKS ARE OPTIONAL Registration and payment for the BLS Instructor Course MUST be received prior to class. $100 is non-refundable if cancelled, $50 TO RESCHEDULE. Register early, classes fill-up quickly. There are no reservations without payment. Class confirmation, directions, and Instructor Essentials are sent by email. Because the BLS Instructor Course covers a lot of material in a relatively short time, advanced preparation is required. Instructor Essentials Course must be completed prior to class. The *Price does not include mandatory materials: Instructor Manual or monitor fee ($75 Virtual monitoring) This course is designed to prepare individuals to teach the AHA BLS and Heartsaver Courses. Completion certificate are issued when all AHA Completion Guidelines are met. Any Instructor who teaches Heartsaver classes will need: the current Heartsaver Instructor Manual. If you have any questions feel free to call our office: 760-947-2426. (please do not go by class location, we are only there the day of the class).** You must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR card as a prerequisite to take this class. Contact us if you need to renew your provider certification. ***The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA.
