Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification Description Information Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification This course meets the Florida Board Of Nursing and Georgia Board of Nursing requirements for LPN’s, or RN and is designed to provide basic knowledge of IV therapy practice. All interested healthcare providers are allowed enrollment but must stay within their scope of practice. The 30 Hrs IV course is achieved via 16 hours of home pre-study and two classroom sessions 7 hours of classroom time. Participant will receive hands-on practice with our IV simulation manikins. Topics include: infection control, central line use, fluids, electrolytes, blood, plasma, albumin, TPN therapy, assessment and care. Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification Description Information Intravenous (IV) Therapy Certification This course meets the Florida Board Of Nursing and Georgia Board of Nursing requirements for LPN’s, or RN and is designed to provide basic knowledge of IV therapy practice. All interested healthcare providers are allowed enrollment but must stay within their scope of practice.
