Heartsaver CPR Instructor Class - 2017 Grant Description Information Heartsaver CPR Instructor Class - 2017 Grant The Heartsaver Instructor Course is designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA Heartsaver Instructor-led and blended learning courses.

Note: You must be a Heartsaver CPR provider or Health Care Provider with a current CPR card to attend this class. This class is sponsored by a grant from the Florida DOH to offer infant CPR and choking classes through our AHA Training Center to 2500 students free of charge. This program will also educate community CPR instructors so that the education will continue after the grant. The program will seek to increase the number of patients receiving push-hard-push fast CPR and have access to an AED and reduce infant mortality in our community. These classes are FREE training for CPR instructors that are sponsored by their community group/organization and agree to teach at least 4 classes under the grant
