Lancaster EMS is a premier, nationally accredited ambulance service located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Our diverse emergency response service area serves over 200,000 residents. This area also includes numerous tourist attractions, industries, businesses and colleges.
We operate from eleven different locations providing advanced life support (ALS), basic life support (BLS), wheelchair van, and specialty and bariatric patient transportation services. Lancaster EMS offers medical standby coverage at sporting events, VIP visits to the County and other mass gatherings and events. Our organization, in partnership with the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, Paramedic Programs. As well as our Education Department provides Internal and external educational offerings like our successful EMT Academy.
Lancaster EMS is the busiest EMS provider in Lancaster County answering over 40,000 requests for service in 2021.
Our employees and affiliated instructors are highly skilled, continually trained, and are committed to providing the highest quality pre-hospital care in the region serving our community members and our County visitors.
