Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OH 180 Hr.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic) Initial Training Program is a 180 Hour Program based on the State of Ohio Administrative Code 4765-15 with curriculum based on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) National EMS Education Standards. A candidate successfully completing the course requirements will be eligible to attempt the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) EMT exam.

Tuesday, January 20, 2026 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Note: Registration ends Friday, January 9th, 2026. Completing this registration will only reserve a seat for the course, pending acceptance of application and completion of required application steps. Applicants must complete an application packet, Applicants must be 18 years of age, high school graduate or GED, or in their final year of high school. Applicants must have a valid driver license. Applicants may be required to take a placement test prior to final acceptance into the course. Fire Department purchase orders (PO) will be accepted. Eligible candidates may apply for a financial payment program. Completed applications are due by Friday, January 16th, 2026.
